Charleston Civic Center
Designed by the Class of 1969. Was made into a metal sculpture that was on the side of the building until the new gym addition was added.
All years are invited to join in for this ALL YEAR REUNION. We will have memorabilia from THE HILL. Asking each Class to have at least 1 representative to help plan. Main event will be on a Saturday evening.
Classes may choose to have separate activities on Friday.
Attendees may want to spend more time in the area to enjoy attractions such as: Charleston Town Center, Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of West Virginia, WV State Museum, White Water Rafting, Zip Lining, Mardi Gras Casino, Kanawha State Forest, Coonskin Park, Live on the Levee, Golfing, the Mystery Hole and so many other wonderful places.
Please join this event. Share on your page. Invite others. We want as many as possible to attend.
It’s going to be EPIC!!!
See the reunion photos for some beautiful new smiling faces — Kim Eplin in the QSA; Karen Clark, Roger Adkins, and Jeff Miller at the KSF picnic.
Still need some other faces….Sandi Hackworth, Matt Yeager, Angie Webb, and Pat Cole for sure. Here are other names given as attending, but I am not sure they made it. Can anyone confirm if I need pictures of these fine people? Thanks!

From the Blogmaster:
WordPress released a new theme I think works better for our site — easier on the ancient eyeballs. Let me know what you think.
New photos from the old days are up! Many more to come……While there are some charming pictures from Senior Skip Day (really), we will not be posting any of those out of fairness to people who are not aware their picture is up and may not be excited to find out later.
If I have any questions about your photograph, I will contact you to get permission. Happily, Kurt Lundgren has greenlighted the shirtless image so it’s all good. 🙂 And I don’t know why, but every time I look at the photo titled “Thad Keener driving” I fall out laughing. Thank you so much to everyone who is sending in pictures! I will keep putting them up as time allows.
Finally, heard this on the radio in the car this morning, it brought back some good memories. Enjoy!
New page is up for photos from the 10th! Special thanks go to Lisa Jackson for these earliest photos. FYI, there is no deadline, ever, for sending in pictures, so any time is great.
Also, per a recent inquiry into “dress code” for events (ahem…dress code? Come on now…..), there is none other than your common sense. We’re 40 something, yes? We’ve earned the right to wear whatever we so please. Plus, it’s casual at the school, very casual at the picnic, and even Fazio’s is a pleasantly nice but family-type environment — though please do remember this event is adults-only. Child care options are available, just let us know you need more info and we can connect you with Jane Perry Brewer and her set-up at her house during dinner on Saturday night.
Given all this and the crazy heat, if I see any jackets or pantyhose anywhere, citations will be issued.
Instead of actually dressing up, I say enjoy some ZZ Top from 1983:
There will also be a page soon for photos from the 20th, and of course plenty from this year’s event celebrating the 25th! Anyone have pics from the 10th to share?
Keep those cards and letters coming….
